Show Notes
We aren't showing the love well.

Jesus told us we will know him by our love for one another. If we love Him first, we can't help but love others well.

But we aren't loving well. We can do better.

There's an epidemic in the church right now. People are leaving it in droves. Why?

There are a number of reasons for this but the biggest is people aren't reading their Bibles anymore. They don't believe what is said on the pages.

They don't believe there is sanctuary and protection in the pews. They don't feel the love.

If God is light and color is produced by light,  color is love. Color is goodness, and goodness, we ought to be loving better. We ought to be loving in outrageous color.

Enough to serve.

Enough to give.

Enough to speak truth.

Enought to keep our mouths shut.

Yeah, this last one is a tough one. Loving means not gossiping. It means holding our grievances, and our tongues, publically.

This includes airing slander about our believing sisters on podcasts.

Yeah, this is happening. Specifically, to New York Times Best Selling Author, Francine Rivers.

Yeah, we go there today. Specifically, we talk about what happens when Christian women tear each other down on platforms.

Remember what the Bible says about platforms. If your cover is dusty, I'll tell you. It says we should tear them down.

God doesn't need us to fight for him by fighting with our Christian sisters.

Sometimes the best way to glorify him is to keep our mouths shut and get off our platforms.

Because what we say carries life or it carries death.

The world will know Jesus by our love for them, and for each other.

We need to do better.

We need to speak words of life, not death.

By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another~Jesus
