Show Notes

It's at the top of every human's list, on every praying person's heart.

Peace.

Is it even possible on this earth?

The good news is, peace is possible, even as wars rage against us and enemies come to devour our flesh. Even now.

It's our promise. One of many.

But.

We are told we will have trouble too. Trouble is right there alongside peace. Parallel to it, an alternate reality.

Still, it's possible to access it.

If you follow Jesus.

It's impossible to know it outside of knowing Him. Just like the old bumper stickers that say, "No Jesus, No Peace; Know Jesus, Know Peace," the only way to experience it in the wait is to pursue it.

Expect it.

In Jesus.

Only in Jesus.

No matter what your wait looks like, there is the promise of peace and color there. Things are coming to life and blooming, my friend. No matter how things look in the wait through winter.

I know you will take encouragement from my beautiful friend LaTrice Magee, who has found peace in fire! And boy, is she on fire!

Today we celebrate what peace looks like in all seasons. In the meanwhile, let's take heart. Our Jesus has overcome the world and His spring is on the way to us, where there is joyful peace.

In wild color!

The Lord is my light and my salvation—
    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me
    to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes
    who will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me,
    my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.

Psalm 27:1-3

LaTrice Magee is a lover of  Truth (God's Word) and people. "I LOVE people deeply and sincerely. I'm passionate about encouraging and spurring others on to good works. Moved by the 'one.' The 'one' that's been overlooked, excluded,  given up on, counted out. The "one" that's dying on the inside but appears alive & well on the outside. The 'one' that's been bruised, crushed, hurt, wounded and feeling abandoned, hopeless and alone. The 'one' that's wandered away from the Truth and desperately needs life to be spoken back into you. The 'one' that everyone visibly sees, but feels internally unseen. Matthew 18:12 tells us Jesus leaves the 99 and goes after the 'one.'"

LaTrice Magee has been married to her husband for 10 1/2 years and we has 4 children, ages 8,7,4 and 2!
