Show Notes

I think sometimes we forget we are called to courage.

Not just faith, not just trust, but courage. And though the word courage is a noun, it implies action.

Faith without action is like a body without spirit, James, the brother of Jesus reminds us.

Without courage, our faith is meaningless.

Courage is a commandment.

Courage is color.

If our God is light, and light produces color, color testifies.

To so many things.

Today, it's courage. God put it on my heart to talk about it, and I hope I am able to encourage you to it.

It's time to kick things up a notch.

Jesus doesn’t need me to be courageous. But if I don’t answer his calls on my life, He will find someone else willing.

And I will have missed my opportunity to be as worthy as those who've spoken and stood up for Him in all matters.  I will have missed the chance to partner with Him here on earth.

Moreover, if I reduce my God to one who is unwilling or worse, incapable, of coming to my defense in ALL situations where I represent Him, I have become idolatrous. I have reduced the God of the universe to impotence!

He's calling His children to be courageous in this hour.  He's gathering His troops for His glory days.

Are you willing to partner with Him?

Are you willing to be courageous?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9
