Trauma doesn't have to define you. It doesn't have to keep you sidelined from your identity either.

It may not seem like it in the moment, but trauma can be resolved to hope and beauty and so much more--through faith in the Lord of the Universe.

No, its effects may not be entirely eradicated. The hurt may never go away. 

However,  there is clarity.

And purpose.

And hope for a better day.

Jesus truly wants to help you.

Sometimes, he's screaming in the dark for you.

Donna Bess has worked in health care for over 20 years and walked with many patients through the difficult turns of life.  She is someone who knows firsthand the ramifications of trauma, and is now using her own valuable lessons learned to help others find hope in the darkness and destiny through the pain.

Donna is a nurse,  mom of three beautiful children and four grandchildren. She is a lover of Jesus Christ, as well as an author and speaker whose passion is to help those who have been sidetracked or sidelined by tragedies in their lives and have lost hope in realizing their dreams.
