Show Notes

Light is where you’ll find truth; truth is where you’ll find color.

Color is where you’ll find God.

Color is God.

It’s his love for you.

Can you imagine a monotone world? Of course not! God gave us color but he says this world we know is but a shadow of things to come. He tells us our minds cannot imagine what he has prepared for us in the next. The color will undoubtedly blow our minds!

Light is what makes this happen.

Color is a product of light and God IS light, so there you have it. Light is the first thing he reproduced of himself after creating the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1, verses 1-3, tells us this. When the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters, he said, “Let there be light”, and there was light.

It’s what makes up our entire universe.

Our bodies are composed of billions of atoms that absorb and emit light.

This is something our guest today celebrates. She also celebrates the miracle of having a body that can walk.

Doctors told her she wouldn't.

Zina Hermez suffered a spinal-cord-injury after being hit by a car while crossing the street on her way to school. She was hospitalized for months, on a ventilator for weeks. She couldn't eat, talk, or sit up. When health professionals predicted the worst, she looked to God and her faith.

He had been preparing her for this.

Faith is never at the mercy of science, and thus, Zina overcame the odds to triumph in a way that will encourage those who listen in today.

Especially those who enjoy a good scientific conversation about the theories of relativity and entanglement and light and the way the Bible supports all of it.

Light’s speed is the only thing in the universe that is constant.

Because God is light.

He is constant.

In every trial.

In each triumph.
