Show Notes

Francine Rivers is one of the most authentic people I've ever have the pleasure to talk with.

She is real, bold, fearless, and unapologetic when it comes to telling her stories. But mostly, she is full of love.

Which is why her stories are full of the Good News of Jesus!

We all need stories of redemption.

So, today we talk about color in this way.

Didn't you know redemption is colorful?

We know light is what makes color happen.

Light is where you’ll find truth. Truth, then, is where you’ll find color.

And color is where you’ll find God.

Color is God.

It’s his love for you.  It's unconditional.

And redemptive.

Color reminds.

It cheers us on.

You see, God never asks us to believe him color-blindly. He gives us proof of his love and devotion to us, even when we choose not to see it.

Once we come to terms with this, our limits are limitless.

Our encounters with God serve others.

Our stories give the Spirit opportunity to work.

There is always redemption as a choice. It’s in the way we choose to write our stories, from what we've been given to work with, and from what we've chosen for ourselves too.

There really is triumph over struggle and victory over pain and a love that can heal all brokenness.

ALL of it.

Shame keeps us from understanding the power of love.

And shame is the farthest thing from God and the Redeeming Love He offers us.

Francine is an extraordinary storyteller of redemption, so, you're really going to like this episode.
